- Reading House Inn - At the turn of the century Oxelösunds reading house was opening for sailors as a haven of refuge where they in peace and quiet could read and write, also there was coffee, sandwiches, soda and cigarettes served here for more than 60 years. (Games and liquor was forbidden) Today the reading house is owned by Kikki and Jan Grundström and serve as a residence, restaurant and inn all the year round. Development of the business is constant and the goal is to give you even better service. In our restaurant we serve lunch of the day seven days a week, on weekdays in buffet and on weekends as weekend menu. You don’t have to eat to visit us, it is just fine to drop in for a coop of coffee and relax with a newspaper in one of the two pantry, in summertime we also have our two w tremendously and comfortable open-air restaurants opened. Kikki and the staff wish you a warm welcome. |
